I had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of eye conditions, including diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and pterygiums. This variety has provided valuable experience in managing chronic and environmentally influenced conditions, enhancing my skills in patient care and long-term monitoring. It’s been an engaging and insightful experience that has broadened my clinical knowledge and approach.
I don’t think I’d be able to focus on my studies the way I did if it wasn’t for the internship financial support alongside the regular check ins from the team at Aurora.
