Interning for the Registrations and Collections teams provided practical work experience to complement my degree. I got to work with colleagues responsible for touring exhibitions. This was certainly the highlight of my internship; seeing how a collection is organised and modified in each gallery, learning how vital condition reporting is, and how custom packages are made to ensure no items are damaged in transit was invaluable.
