I wanted to expand my understanding of native title as well as explore career options outside of commercial law. As a Traditional Owner and member of a PBC in the Pilbara I was interested in understanding how a large native title body operates and the responsibilities of a native title lawyer. I now understand how diverse native title work is, extensive evidence that is required in bringing a land claim and the genuine drive for justice that staff have at KLC.
