I had a great experience at NAAFLS, the organisation was very welcoming and keen to let me guide what I would like to do during the internship. I found it was a great experience to learn and practice key legal skills in a relaxed and supportive environment. I really appreciated the opportunity to learn more about community in Darwin and the NT, and gain a deeper understanding of issues of family violence and child protection affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. I was very grateful to be connected by Aurora with other interns in Darwin at the same time.
