DesignInc Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Architecture Scholarship

DesignInc embodies a holistic approach to buildings and environment that puts people and sustainability at the centre of everything they do. The practice has a proactive approach to diversity and inclusion and has achieved gender balance amongst staff and senior executive. There is also cultural diversity with 34 nationalities represented within the practice. As an organisation we support our staff in every aspect, from training and professional development, mental health support, flexibility in work life balance, social activities, collaborative approach to design and a positive and dynamic environment to work in.

DesignInc is an Australia-wide practice, dedicated to creating people-centric environments from the large scale to the small. Architecture can transform lives. It changes cities, builds communities and can elevate everyday moments of working, learning and living. We think about every project in terms of environmental sustainability, and seek design solutions that are good for people, good for the planet.

People are at the heart of everything we do. From designing environments that aid learning or healing, to places of discovery and technical innovation — our first question is ‘how can we make a positive contribution to not only the project outcomes but also to the community and the planet?’ Our experienced team of architects, urban planners, interior designers and landscape architects, brings this holistic perspective to each project.
