This scholarship aims to support the next generation of Indigenous students working to create change in their communities and in the world, and in a small, yet meaningful way to address historic inequity. 
This scholarship covers the full cost of accommodation for a standard room at Kev Carmody House.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be:
– a domestic student;
– able to demonstrate financial need;
– an Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person;
– enrolled, or intend to enrol, in an approved program in the year the scholarship is awarded and;
– a resident, or intend to be a resident, at Kev Carmody House. 

How to Apply

With your application, you will need:
– your QTAC reference number;
– evidence of financial hardship such as: Centrelink statements, ATO statements, family income, etc.;
– Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander status and;
– academic and community service/leadership achievements.
